Campus Safety @ CNU

As parents, we share a common concern for our students' safety. CNU remains one of the nation's safest campuses. Yet, our children - like students on all campuses - should take necessary precautions to protect themselves and their property.

First, encourage your child to register for CNU's emergency notification system, which sends text and e-mail messages in the event of a high-level emergency. We also encourage students to follow some basic safety steps: securing their personal property, locking their rooms and vehicles, staying familiar with their surroundings, and reporting any suspicious activity. For additional precautions, University Police provides helpful online tips we encourage all students to consult.

College provides a memorable experience for everyone. Together, we can make it a safe experience as well.
